Welcome to Estimatics

What Estimatics does, how the workspace is organized, and the three steps to get your first inspection documented and delivered.

Welcome to Estimatics

Estimatics is an inspection platform for the U.S. property insurance and restoration industry. You capture the property with an iPhone; Estimatics turns what you captured into findings, a priced scope, and a report you can hand to a carrier.

What it actually does

Every claim starts with an inspection, and traditionally the inspection is the easy part. What follows is hours of sorting photos, writing a scope by hand, assembling a PDF, and hoping the file holds up when the carrier pushes back.

Estimatics takes that second half.

You photograph, record video, and scan rooms with LiDAR in the field. Your media syncs while you're still on site. Then, when you ask it to, the AI reads your photos and proposes damage findings — each one tied to the photograph that supports it. You confirm what's right, flag what belongs in the scope, and Estimatics builds the line-item estimate and composes the report.

Nothing runs on its own. Analysis is something you trigger, per photo or per area.

How the workspace is organized

A job opens into a workspace with up to nine tabs. The first six are the modules, in the order the work happens:

Overview — the job record: property, claim, contacts, dates, status.

Capture — every photo, video, LiDAR scan, and attachment, organized by area.

Analyze — AI damage findings, area approval, and the coverage signal that tells you where the file is thin. On every plan; SCOPE adds the written narrative.

Geometry — floor plans and the 3D model from your LiDAR scans, with per-area dimensions. On every plan.

Estimate — the line-item scope, priced against the property's region, and the Xactimate (ESX) export.

Reports — pick a report type and Estimatics composes the sections and renders the PDF.

Three more are always there: Notes, Audit Log, and Esti — the AI copilot, on SCOPE and CERTIFY.

Your first three steps

Step 1 — Create a job

A job is the unit everything lives inside: photos, video, notes, scope, reports.

From the Jobs dashboard, choose Create. Either upload the policy PDF and let Estimatics pre-fill the form, or create manually through three steps: property owner and address, job details and workflow type, damage and insurance.

The job starts at New. Assign it and it moves to Inspection Assigned.

Step 2 — Capture in the field

Install the Estimatics iOS app and sign in with your web credentials.

  1. Open the job from the Jobs tab
  2. Photograph every area, assigning each photo to a room
  3. Record video where a still won't carry it
  4. Run a LiDAR scan of the interior for floor plans and dimensions
  5. Media syncs on its own — and keeps working with no signal, uploading when you're back in range

Photos appear on the web dashboard while you're still at the property.

Step 3 — Review and deliver

Back on the web dashboard:

  1. Review what came in under Capture
  2. Run the analysis in Analyze, then confirm, correct, or delete each finding
  3. Flag what belongs in the scope with +Scope
  4. Generate and price the scope in Estimate
  5. Compose the report in Reports, or export ESX for Xactimate

Choosing a plan

PlanBest forPer Estimator seat
FIELDInspectors, contractors scoping jobs$39/mo
SCOPEActive public adjusters, restoration contractors$79/mo
CERTIFYDisputed claims, appraisal, litigation$174/mo

All three include unlimited jobs, the iOS app, LiDAR, AI photo analysis, AI Scope Generation, regional pricing, and report composition.

The plan rate prices one Estimator seat, not the whole account. Field inspectors are $39 and office staff $24, regardless of which plan your estimators are on.

Every new account gets a 14-day trial with 3 seats and no credit card.

Your team

Five roles: Super Admin, Admin, Coordinator, Estimator, and Field Inspector. Each one sees a different set of tabs and can do different things inside them — a Field Inspector captures and records findings but never sees the Estimate tab; an Admin reads the modules without being able to edit them.
