The Estimate-Ready Report
How to turn your scope and pricing into a clean estimate report — on its own or as part of a complete package.

The Estimate-Ready Report
When your scope is built and reviewed, the Estimate report turns it into a clean, sendable document — the scope and pricing laid out the way a recipient expects to receive them.
What's in it
The Estimate report type is focused: a cover and the estimate table — your line items, quantities, and pricing, organized by area and coverage. It's the right choice when the estimate is the deliverable and you don't need the full findings-and-analysis package around it.
Need the numbers plus the supporting story? Use the Complete report, which combines findings, narrative, geometry, evidence, and the estimate table in one document.
Availability
The Estimate and Complete report types require a SCOPE seat — the estimate table is itself a SCOPE-tier section, so there is no version of this report below that.
The tier that counts is the seat's, not the account's.
Before you generate
- Confirm the scope is reviewed — resolve inferred or low-confidence lines first (see The Pricing & Scope Confidence Indicator).
- Check quantities and pricing reflect the job.
- Make sure each line can point to its evidence (see Evidence-Linked Estimation).
Once it's ready, compose it and download the PDF. Generating a report is always a deliberate step — you decide when the estimate leaves your hands.
For Xactimate, run the ESX export from the Estimate module instead. That's a different path with a different output.
